All Leisure Holidays Limited are proud to introduce a new addition to the Voyages of Discovery fleet – Voyager. Formerly the Alexander von Humboldt, she has been extensively upgraded and will be joining the ever-popular Discovery in November 2012 to provide an even wider choice of itineraries to destinations worldwide.
Voyager, built by Spanish yard Union Navale le Levante in 1990, is a spacious and well-appointed vessel offering 278 cabins, 30 of which have outside balconies, open seating dining in three restaurants and the personal service and comfort levels that have been the hallmark of the cruises since 2003. Carrying just 550 passengers, Voyager has all the amenities and facilities of a larger liner, whilst offering the convenience and flexibility of a small ship. She is able to visit and berth alongside where others have to pass by, yet is able to traverse the world’s oceans with ease. On board the passengers will be able to relax in the comfortable public lounges, enjoy a drink in atmospheric Harry’s Bar and in the sunshine on deck at the Lido Bar, or read a good book in the well-stocked library.
The perfect partner for Discovery, Voyager joins the well-established and popular liner Discovery and will offer the same warm welcome and friendly ambience that the passengers expect, but with open seating dining and the option of a balcony cabin.
Step aboard Voyager, and enjoy a comfortable, spacious and contemporary ship for only 540 passengers, ideal for experiencing our unique brand of small ship discovery cruising.
Voyager provides all the facilities you would expect, including a choice of bars, restaurants and lounges. The public rooms are named to an explorer theme – a perfect fit with our ethos of discovery and exploration.
The ship features 270 comfortable cabins to suit every taste and budget, 30 of which have balconies. Voyager also has the advantage of open seating dining, which means you can choose to dine at whatever time suits you with whoever you wish.
With classic liner style, plenty of room to relax and up to 700 fellow travellers, Discovery offers personal service, and an unhurried, restful cruise experience. Dine in formal restaurants or enjoy a light buffet al fresco, take a dip in the plunge pool or soak up the sun while relaxing in a hot tub. There’s a library, card room, internet centre and numerous spacious lounges in which to enjoy the lazy days at sea.
After a busy day ashore, enjoy a drink on deck or in one of Discovery's lounges, before making your way to one of the restaurants. Following dinner, the entertainment team will display their talents in a colourful and snappily choreographed big show. These shows are complemented by carefully chosen speciality acts and guest entertainers who add variety to your evening entertainment. And the late night cabarets will ensure that your evenings keep going with a swing.
